Over the past few years, we have worked on some excellent projects and collaborated with wonderful organizations from both government and non-government and corporate sectors. Through our works, we have reached the most vulnerable sections of the population and made an impact that meaningfully changed their lives. However, that was obviously not enough. I would like to thank all those organizations and government departments that have continued their unwavering support for PWS. Without your support, there would be lesser smiles across our operational area. I look forward to you patronage in future as we forge ahead to break new barriers and reach deeper into unreached masses. The Annual Report 2020-21 captures the primary essence of the work that our organization was able to do in the last few years, I am happy and proud to display the fruit of our labor. Our focus was majorly on livelihood, education, and clean drinking water supply for the poor people. However, West Bengal is a land of beautiful natural resources yet due to proper and adequate knowledge and skills, most people are deprived of its benefits. I am glad PWS stood beside them and enabled these poor people to live a life of dignity and at the same time take up responsibility to preserve their environment. We have also devoted our effort to identify and promote young talents in sports so that these tribal boys can shine in future. I am extremely grateful to our donors and well-wishers for their extreme support and patronage. I look forward to a long time relationship with them in future.
Our Mission is to conscious and hand hold support to the rural people about their livelihood through sustainable NRM, basic health and education, water and sanitation and basic rights, assist them to recognize and improve their potentialities through skill formation, knowledge sharing and transfer of technical knowhow, guide them to generate economic benefit for promoting sustainable development in rural economy.
PWS’ Vision is to achieve a value oriented sustainable society based on social orientation, economic growth, local capacity building and empowerment of people for a complete social transformation and to enhance the quality of life of the marginalised through capacity building and skill development without disturbing the social ecological harmony and maintaining the human values as well and is poised to be the pioneer for resource center assuring progress and success.
